영화 제일 처음인지는 기억이 안나는데(당연하지 어케 한번 보고 다 기억하냐)
아마도? 제일 처음 나왔던 곡으로 기억함
스타로드가 술에 절어 쓰러지고 다른 가좍들이 응급처치를 한 이후
로켓이 터덜 터덜 건물 밖으로 걸어 나와서 계단에 걸터 앉아 성길이의 엠피쓰리로 재생하는 노래가 크립
너무 유명한 노래라 해석은 정말 네이버든 구글이든 한글로 검색해서 찾아봐도 될 정도이다
 
개인적으로는 가오갤 멤버들이랑 잘 어울리는 선곡이라고 생각함
주의깊게 들었던 대목은 제일 유명한 그 가사
"난 찌질이야, 난 병신이야, ㅅㅂ 나 여기서 뭐하고 있는 거지? 난 여기 어울리지 않아"
사실 1편부터.. 어딘가에서 낙오되고 동떨어진 캐릭터들이 모여 가족애 전우애 우정 등등을 교류하며 뭉친 가디언즈 오브 갤럭시라는 팀과 그 멤버들을 아주 잘 소개하는 가사
그래서 초반엔 스타로드와 그를 간호하는 멤버들을 샥 훑는 연출을 한다
 
그리고 영화 3편은 어떤 주제의식이던 로켓 라쿤을 통해 이야기 하고 싶어 했기 때문에
로켓이 메인 중에서도 메인 캐릭터라고 봐야 하는데
1편부터 계속 외쳐댔던 로켓의 심정을 나타내는 가사도 같이 있다고 생각했다
바로 "완벽한 몸을 가지고 싶어, 완벽한 영혼을 가지고 싶어" 라는 대목
로켓 스스로 깊은 이야기는 공개하지 않았었지만 계속 자기는 빌어먹을 실험체였었다고 자조적인 말과 자기비하를 하는 내용들이 종종 나왔기 때문

언급 안하려다가.... 노래 제일 첫 가사가
"만약 우리에게 아직 시간이 있다면 여전히 그럭저럭 지낼 수 있었겠지,

그냥 너무 가모라랑 성길이 얘기같아서 굳이 언급하고 지나감

흑흑 제가 좋아하는 지풍화 노래임 ㅠㅠ
이상한 행성 쳐들어가서 뿌셔뿌셔할때 시간차공격으로 이 노래가 나왔었음
이거 가사 암만 봐도 이상하고 자꾸 리즌~ 리즌 그 이유는~어저구저쩌구해서 넘 어려운데요
그냥 하룻밤 원나잇하고 저는 이제 깨어났답니다 안녕 짜이찌엔 하는 내용이랍니다....

공식 인터뷰라고 보기에는 어렵긴 한 내용.. 이지만...
일단 노래가사에 "그냥 하룻밤만 널 사랑할때 키스랑 허그랑 기타등등..." 이라는 내용이나,
"우리의 모든 이유(???) 이후에 사랑은 사라졌답니다"라는 가사가 있는걸로 봐서는 맞는말 같아요
꽤나 충격적인 가사에 그렇지 못한 멜로디..

어느 부분에서 나왔나 곱씹어봐도 기억이 잘 안나는데 강강쥐랑 감독 동생놈이랑 싸울때 나왔을까
여튼 이거 클래식 어레인지 하고 가사만 붙여서 낸 오타구만화 노래라고 하고
가사 내용은 노래 제목에서도 나오다시피 강아지의 일상에 대한 나열임
가사가 왕왕 월월 흐물흐물 멍멍...이 대부분이다가 갑자기 강아지가 뭐.. 밥을먹엇다.. 뭐 이런식임....

가모라 한번 쳐다보고 엠피쓰리 화면에 뜬 가모라 닮은 앨범아트 한번 쳐다보면서 노래가 재생 되는데
제목에서부터 "나는 언제나 무지개를 쫒아요" 이고,
전반적인 노래 내용도 나는 무지개와 파랑새를 쫒지만 나는 항상 비만 맞고 실패하기만 한다는 내용..
하지만 노래 속의 '나'는 항상 무지개를 쫒는 사람이라니까 결국 이것도 가모라와 스타로드의 이야기를 하고 있는 노래라고 보인다

왜 팬송이라 생각햇냐면요,,,
노래내용이
"우리 투어 도느라 진짜 힘든데 너무 즐겁고 피곤하지만 브루클린(본인들 고향) 갈때까지 안자고 계속 공연할거다" 이런 내용임

가사 해석뿐만 아니라 노래 속 함의까지도 아주 잘 풀어써주신 블로그가 있어 함께 첨부

가오갤의 새 리더가 된 이후 로켓이 피터에게 물려(?)받은 엠피쓰리 중에 2000년대 노래를 재생하자마자 나오는 노래
이 역시 가오갤 전체 멤버들에게 하는 말이나 다름 없음
행복을 두고도 행복인지 모르던 멤버들에게..
 
그리고 The dog days 블로그에서는 무더위로 번역했는데 때에 따라서는 침체기라고도 번역하는 것 같음
은유적인 표현으로 들려서 무더위라는 번역도 좋다
 
위 블로그에서 해석한 대로 "진짜 행복을 찾으러 가고 싶다면 자신을 매어둔 것들을 내려두어야 한다"는 말은 맨티스와 스타로드에게,
"달리는 기차가 트럭을 친 것처럼 행복이 그녀를 덮쳤다(행복이 다가왔는데 무섭고 두려워서 피하기만 한다는 의미)"는 말은 네뷸라와 로켓에게 관객들이 들려주고 싶던 그런 이야기 아닐까
중간에 "난 너에게 아무것도 원하지 않았어, 너의 모든것과 그 뒤에 남겨진 것들을 빼고"라는 건 가모라를 위한 부분인 것 같다는 생각을 했다.
피터나 로켓, 그루트, 그리고 네뷸라가 아닌 새로운 라바저스들과 새롭게 가족 같은 사이가 되어 우주를 누비는 가모라에게....
가오갤 멤버들이 주었던 사랑과 우정을 새로운 가족들에게 받고 있는 모습이라서 ㅎㅎ
뭐 나만의 행복회로 뇌내망상이겠지만 그냥 그렇다고..ㅠㅠ
 
여튼 노래에서 말하는 대로 힘든 날들은 지나갔다.

1편을 열었던 노래로 3편을 닫는 느낌
진짜 끝이구나 싶음
뭐 내용은.....
누군가에게는 부족해 보이는 사랑이어도, 나에게는 문제가 없으니 어서 와서 내 사랑을 가져가라는 그런 내용...이겠죠?
 
이 노래 이후에 크레딧 계속 올라가면서 Bruce Springsteen의 Badlands가 나온다
